A nurse studying a Masters through the NHS approached me to do a commission for her thesis. She wanted a cover that was fun and memorable to counter balance the very data heavy content. I chose a design that evoked the early post-war years of the NHS, and the original 'can do' spirit that lends some lightheartedness for a sensitive topic.
